This Privacy Policy explains how Financix collects, uses and protects your information, including the use of third-party advertising such as Google AdSense.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email and a hashed password.
• Card data: bank, brand, last 4 digits, cutoff day and payment day. We never collect the full card number, CVV or expiry date.
• Gamification & preferences: XP, levels, streak, achievements and your language preference.
• Technical data: session cookie, IP address, browser/device data and usage logs.

2. How we use your data

To provide the service (calculate interest-free periods and recommendations), authenticate you, keep your preferences, run the gamification features, ensure security and improve the App.

3. Cookies

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. Third-party advertising partners may set additional cookies (see below).

4. Advertising & third parties (Google AdSense)

We may show ads served by third parties, including Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies:

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick/DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits.
• Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies to serve personalized ads.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the App (e.g. hosting) and advertising partners as described above, or when required by law.

7. Security & retention

We use reasonable measures (hashed passwords, prepared statements, CSRF protection). We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Children

The App is not directed to people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
